Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients in Labor and Delivery according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as ordered, and respond to emergent obstetric situations.
- Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and document findings and outcomes.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; provide guidance and supervision as needed.
- Coordinate care with obstetricians, anesthesiology, neonatology, and other disciplines to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Relevant nursing experience in labor and delivery or obstetric care (experience in L&D is preferred)
- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift (3x12 schedule) in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and complete required credentialing and orientation
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to established standards of care
