Land Surveyor

As part of HDR’s Transportation Business Group, you will help design resilient highways, bridges, transit, rail, aviation, ports and marine infrastructure to support economic vitality and community well‑being. Responsibilities Assist in field layout and measurement. Prepare base maps. Perform standard calculations to determine elevation, areas and volumes from field survey notes. Use standard tapes and electronic field equipment according to accepted rules. Perform basic calculations from field note data, and read, interpret and use topographic maps and design drawings. Demonstrate understanding of basic survey or CAD applications. Perform other duties as required. This position is subject to a pre‑employment drug test. Required Qualifications Associate degree in a closely related field or a combination of relevant education and experience. Experience with AutoCAD.
