Vice President of E-Commerce & Marketing (Wichita)

Position Summary

The Vice President of E-Commerce & Marketing is a strategic and hands‑on executive leader responsible for driving Fairbank Equipment’s online revenue growth, digital marketing initiatives, brand strategy, customer acquisition, and e‑commerce performance. This role partners with executive leadership and sales teams to develop and execute comprehensive B2B and B2C marketing and e‑commerce strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, customer engagement, and long‑term business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s overall e‑commerce and marketing strategy.
• Drive revenue growth through online sales channels, digital marketing programs, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Oversee website functionality, customer experience, content management, and online merchandising.
• Partner with executive leadership and sales teams to establish revenue objectives and growth plans.
• Lead SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, content marketing, social media, and promotional campaigns.
• Utilize analytics and KPI reporting to improve conversion rates, customer engagement, and sales performance.
• Oversee brand management, advertising, trade shows, direct marketing, and marketing communications.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, and technology vendors.
• Support company acquisition integration activities involving branding, marketing, and e‑commerce operations.
• Lead, develop, and mentor marketing and e‑commerce team members.
• Represent Fairbank at customer events, industry conferences, and trade shows.

Qualifications – Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive e‑commerce, digital marketing, or marketing leadership experience.
• Minimum of 4 years leading a multichannel B2B and/or B2C e‑commerce business.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, analytics, and business intelligence platforms.
• Agriculture, industrial distribution, manufacturing, or propane industry experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong strategic planning and business leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of e‑commerce platforms, SEO, digital marketing, analytics, and website optimization.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business actions.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and high‑performing teams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods and use standard office equipment.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel approximately 15%, including overnight travel.

Work Environment

• Professional office environment with periodic travel to branch locations, customer facilities, trade shows, and conferences.
