Purpose of the role

As the Digital Content Creator, you will be the driving force behind Vredestein's new TikTok channel. You'll create, film, edit, and publish content that makes Vredestein relevant, entertaining, and authentic for a younger audience while staying true to the brand’s voice, tone, guidelines, and quality standards. You'll have the freedom to experiment, test new content formats, spot trends before they peak, and help shape Vredestein's social personality from the ground up.

Secondary purpose of the Job:

Ensure Vredestein’s brand experience is maintained on its TikTok channel, tailored to platform-specific audiences globally, by working closely with regional teams, social media agencies, and internal stakeholders.

What you will be your main responsibilities?

Content Creation

• Develop and produce TikTok-first content for the Vredestein channel.
• Film, edit, and publish short-form videos using mobile-first production techniques.
• Create content around cars, road trips, lifestyle, motorsport, travel, sustainability, design, and culture.
• Generate fresh content ideas that resonate with Gen Z and younger millennial audiences.
• Participate in content shoots both in-office and on location across London and the UK.

Trend Spotting & Community Engagement

• Monitor TikTok trends, sounds, creators, memes, and emerging formats daily.
• Identify opportunities to participate in relevant conversations and cultural moments.
• Engage with followers and help build an authentic community around the brand.
• Track competitor activity and share regular insights with the marketing team.

Brand Storytelling

• Help translate technical automotive topics into entertaining, relatable content.
• Work with marketing teams, agencies, influencers, and ambassadors to develop campaigns.
• Ensure content aligns with brand values while maintaining a genuine TikTok voice.

Performance Analysis

• Monitor content performance using TikTok analytics.
• Report on engagement, reach, follower growth, and content learnings.
• Recommend improvements based on audience behaviour and platform best practices.

What you Bring?

Experience

• Proven experience creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts. (i.e. Know what's trending before your friends do).
• Links to your TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or other content portfolio.

Background (essential)

• Active TikTok user with a strong understanding of platform culture.
• Strong photography and video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, or similar tools.
• Excellent storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
• Confidence appearing on camera when required.
• Strong awareness of internet culture, trends, and social-first content formats.
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.

Good to have

• Passion for cars, motorsport, travel, cycling, or automotive culture.
• Experience growing a personal social media account.
• Experience working with influencers or content creators.
• Knowledge of social media analytics.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in digital marketing or design.
