Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Meridian, ID Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,938 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Meridian, Idaho, 83642. Job Title: Registered Nurse. Profession: Nursing. Specialty: Intensive Care Unit. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: Night Shift. Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM). Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care ICU experience (non-PCU). License: Required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. Unit notes: The Intensive Care Unit consists of 14 beds and nurse‑patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity and specialty devices. RNs are required to titrate drips including Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Phenylephrine, Nitroglycerin, Diltiazem, Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Morphine, Versed, Precedex, Heparin, Insulin, and others. There is a dedicated charge nurse, nurse aids, patient care techs (ratio 1:8), and a telemetry tech who performs two‑thirds of telemetry strips. RNs must sign off on two‑thirds of these strips and perform one strip. The facility uses SpaceLabs monitors. Physician covers ICU admissions 24/7 and is available for troubleshooting and management of Respiratory Therapy equipment. Staffing schedules are set by management. Weekend requirements typically involve every other weekend to every third weekend, with holidays possibly requiring rotation. No call or standby requirement. Floating may be required across campuses but generally not to PCU or MS‑Tele unless experienced. Scrub colors are not restricted. RNs must use an electronic charting system. BSN not required.
