Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time

$34-$38/hour | Full-Time | Benefits

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians while helping residents improve mobility, strength, and independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Help residents improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and functional mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team

Qualifications

• Active NJ Physical Therapist Assistant license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates are welcome to apply
