Clinic LVN Opportunity in San FranciscoVivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Clinic LVN in San Francisco for a wonderful established healthcare organization. This is a full-time position with salary and benefits.Job OverviewAs part of our dynamic team, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) operates under the guidance of the Program/Clinic Manager, the clinical direction of a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN), and the oversight of the Associate Nurse Manager. This role is crucial in delivering direct nursing care to our valued patients, ensuring their health and well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesEfficiently process, relay, and execute all medication orders in accordance with clinic guidelines.Administer and manage medication distribution as directed by medical staff.Provide exemplary nursing care and treatments to patients within the Day Health Clinic.Keep clinic supplies well-stocked and organized.Contribute significantly to the interdisciplinary team by sharing nursing insights during planning, problem-solving, and procedural activities.Educate, guide, and support patients, geriatric aides, and family members on nursing care requirements and related issues.Perform additional tasks as needed to support patient care.Requirements:Completion of an accredited LVN program.Active LVN licensure in California.Proven interest and capability in working with the elderly or frail populations, with at least one year of experience.Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Bilingual skills may be necessary for certain positions.Benefits for Eligible Employees (20+ hours/week):Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Retirement Savings Plan (403b) and Term Life/AD&D Insurance.Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Benefits, scholarships, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Pet Insurance and various discounts.Generous holiday schedule, vacation time, sick leave, and long-term disability insurance.
