Lead Mechanical Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer at Creative Engineers Inc. located in New Freedom, PA or Greenville, SC. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as machine design, utilizing Autodesk Inventor, managing projects, and incorporating one of a kind, novel concepts for handling alkali metals or specialty chemicals. Minimum Required Qualifications. If you do not meet all of these please do not apply. Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited US school. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks Ability to design and calculate ASME coded vessels utilizing excel. Ability to design skid mounted systems in 3D and include steel, vessels and pipe. Proficient in stress analysis and steel deflection analysis using Inventor/SolidWorks. Ability to work onsite or relocate to the York Pennsylvania area. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen for initial hiring. Experience with designing equipment to handle hazardous materials such as flammables, toxics and water reactive. Experience in Project Management Research and Development (R&D) expertise. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export-controlled programs.
