Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CVORT
American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital CVOR role requiring open heart experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.
Hospital operating room unit with 12 beds
Open Heart CST role, with utilization in general surgery cases when not needed in open heart
Must be able to scrub Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General, and Gyne cases
Patient ratio of 1:1
Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Call requirements include weeknights and weekends
No floating required
Cerner EMR used
Stryker equipment (updated within the last year)
NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
Open heart surgery experience required
Experience scrubbing Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General, and Gyne cases required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
Active driver's license required for consideration, if applicable
Surgical blue scrub color required
Orientation available on 10/19/26 or every other Monday, excluding holidays
Required to work during Thanksgiving week
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Local candidates will not be accepted
Previous employees who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
