The Legal Assistant maintains a close professional relationship with attorneys and manages their day-to‑day activities. Job Summary Prepares correspondence and simple to moderately complex legal documents. Schedules medical appointments. Proofreads documents for spelling and grammar. Organizes and maintains files. Screens telephone calls and visitors. Reads and responds to mail.
