Commissioning Manager

Reporting to: Commissioning Operations Manager The Commissioning Manager will have responsibility for technical commissioning aspects of projects at varying locations throughout t Specific Responsibilities

LITIES:

Reporting and Liaising with operations manager on upcoming projects and ongoing projectsLive reporting to Project managers and project commissioning engineer during commis sion.Responsible for input to project programmes and monitoring of same throughout commissioning stages.Providing project overview and specification to commissioning engineers before commissioning k ick-off.Managing Commissioning team, ensuring adequate resources are av ailable.Working with the HR Department to facilitate team annual performance reviews, ensuring provision of required training and continual professional development for the Commissioni ng team.Schedules and conducts monthly commissioning team m eetings.Test equipment logistics and scheduling between different projects when r equired.New test equipment specification, purchase and hire, upkeep of H&MV equipment, ensure equipment calibration schedule is f ollowed.Manage FAT tests for crucial equipment with project m anagers.Review commissioning plans and commissioning packs before project k ick off.Review ongoing RFI for live p rojects.Review of design and drawings for smal l works.Attend project kick-off meetings and project monthly meetings during commissioning stages.Attend projects on an ongoing basis to review safety, progress and resolve issues.Assist with any requests from tendering department for tender programmes and technical info rmation.Review and control of commissioning sub-cont ractors.Assist asset management team with technical services and queries.Conduct interviews with HR department for additional department re Skill/Requirements rements : Third Level Electrical Engineering Qua lification5 Year’s Experience in a similar role with HV contractor or utilityProven industry w ork recordFlexibility/Ad T LiteracyPeople Managem ent SkillsStrong interperso H&MV Engineering is an Equal Opportuni ty EmployerWe value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all #J-18808-Ljbffr H&MV Engineering
