Responsibilities Wash, clean, sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dishwashing areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and organized. Ensure timely availability of clean dishware and utensils for Culinary staff to use. Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring equipment is functioning properly. Assist with keeping the kitchen and storage areas stocked with necessary supplies. Dispose of trash and recyclables in compliance with health and safety regulations. Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Completes prep duties, including washing dishes, taking inventory, and restocking supplies. Maintain a clean and organized work station, including sinks, counters, and cooking equipment. Follow established safety standards for food handling, cooking, and storage. Work with Kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service. Assists with all event types including catering, department specific products, game day events. All other duties as assigned Required Skills Experience in food preparation or culinary arts, large-volume kitchen experience preferred. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and HACCP guidelines. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment. This position may require the following valid certifications, Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events. Qualifications Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands. Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity and coordination to perform tasks such as chopping, cutting, and food preparation. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and ascending/ descending stairs as necessary Perform repetitive tasks as required in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
