We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated team at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, the nation's largest providers of post-acute care. Our state-of-the‑art rehabilitation centers are committed to delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of our patients.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Conducting exercises, and activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function
-
Monitoring patients' progress and reporting any changes to the physical therapist
-
Educating patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises
-
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team
Responsibilities:

Assisting with patient evaluations and assessments

Developing and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist

Providing individualized and group therapy sessions

Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
-
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
-
Minimum [insert minimum years of experience] years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
