The ideal candidate has a strong background in heavy industrial electrical maintenance, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responcibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and automated manufacturing systems.

• Diagnose electrical issues involving 480V, 4,160V, 13.5kV, and high-voltage distribution systems up to 345kV, as qualified and authorized.

• Troubleshoot, monitor, and modify PLC logic, primarily using Siemens S7 systems.

• Identify and resolve problems involving PLC inputs and outputs, communication networks, sensors, and control circuits.

• Troubleshoot and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs), electric motors, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, and switchgear.

• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to identify equipment failures.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.

• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.

• Follow established electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash protection, and proper electrical testing practices.

Qualifications
