RN - CCU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in critical care License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Required charting system experience Experience with managing critical care patients Ability to float to different critical care units Description:Critical care float pool for critical care units.The position involves caring for patients with traumatic injuries and surgical complications.Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients with multiple medical comorbidities.Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and be willing to work every other weekend, including holidays.The candidate should have experience with critical care charting and patient management.All candidates must have the necessary certifications through the American Heart Association.Staffing may require floating to medical, surgical, and emergency departments as needed.Daily responsibilities include managing monitors, administering medications, and providing direct patient care.Candidates are expected to have knowledge of advanced interventions and critical care protocols.Experience with handling various patient diagnoses such as sepsis and trauma is essential.Teamwork and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this role.Participation in interdisciplinary support with various healthcare teams is expected.Additional requirements include floating between different critical care areas as patient needs arise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
