Make a significant impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic high school environment. This full-time contract opportunity starts August 24, 2026, and runs through May 2027, with the possibility of extending into the remainder of the school year. You'll be working onsite with a dedicated team to foster positive student outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- Current and active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Experience working in K-12 schools, with preference for high school settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including expertise in conducting student evaluations and delivering comprehensive PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Excellent communication skills for building relationships with students, staff, and families
- Aptitude for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to a bustling, diverse school setting
Key responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational evaluations to high school students in a timely, thorough manner
- Deliver detailed reports and participate in PPT meetings to inform individual education plans
- Consult with teachers, counselors, families, and staff to address students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Support the implementation of intervention strategies and participate in developing positive behavioral supports
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
This opportunity offers a structured schedule of 35 hours per week onsite, allowing you to build meaningful connections in a supportive, collaborative environment. The contract includes Zoom interviews for your convenience, so you can learn more about the school and ask questions about the role.
If you’re passionate about helping students thrive and meet the qualifications listed, we encourage you to take the next step in your career. Apply today to make a difference in the lives of high school students!
Compensation for this position ranges from $38.93 to $68.93. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
