Bilingual Electromechanical Field Service Technician

GSI METALFORMING INTERNATIONAL CORP

Job Description

GSI Metalforming is looking for an experienced Electromechanical Field Service Technician to support the installation, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning of roll forming machinery at a customer site.

Responsibilities:

Install, align, and commission roll forming equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems .
Perform machine adjustments, calibration, and testing.
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Work directly with customers and provide on-site technical support.

Qualifications:

Electromechanical background required.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Experience with roll forming, metal forming, coil processing, or industrial manufacturing equipment .
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial machinery.
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is a plus.
Ability to travel and work independently.
