Team members are provided all tools/equipment and PPE.Responsibilities:Our Mechanics are responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant by performing the following duties:Hands on leadership of 5+ mechanics supporting 50 person facility equipped with multiple types of machineryPerform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to serviceInspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotesCommunicate with maintenance coordinator and production manager on status of down equipment and customer repairsPrepare equipment for shippingEstablishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet company demandMotivate and implement safety procedures, recognition, and accountabilityCollaborate with departmental managers to meet plant goalsManages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.Base Qualifications:3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferredDiagnostic ability and troubleshooting skillsAbility to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environmentInterpret technical instructionsCapability to use independent judgment and work both independently and in a team settingBasic computer skillsCommitment to qualityPhysical demands: must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing, climbing is frequently requiredScreening requirements include: A Physical, Drug Screen, and Criminal Background Check.Preferred Skills:Problem solving: IntermediateVariety of Hand Tools Experience: AdvancedTroubleshooting: AdvancedOrganizational Skills: IntermediateComputer skills: IntermediateEffective Communication: AdvancedIndependent Judgement: IntermediateIndustrial Equipment Maintenance Experience: IntermediateMeasuring Skills: IntermediateBlueprint Reading: IntermediatePreferred Behaviors:Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityPreferred Motivations:Growth Opportunities: Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibilityAbility to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organizationPreferred Experience:3 years: Maintenance or automotive repairEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
