Caregiver - Weekday & Weekend Parkinson's Care Giver Senior Helpers - W. Cuyahoga & E. Lorain Counties, OH

Senior Helpers of Cuyahoga West is seeking experienced, compassionate caregivers to support clients living with Parkinson's disease . We are hiring for weekday and weekend shifts , with flexible scheduling options available.

This role is ideal for caregivers who are confident, patient, and knowledgeable in providing specialized care while promoting safety, dignity, and independence.

Pay Rate:

• $16.00 - $20.00 per hour , based on experience, skills, and client needs

Schedule:

• Weekdays and weekends
• Flexible shifts available:
• Morning
• Afternoon
• Overnight (as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on care for clients with Parkinson's disease
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide medication reminders and observe symptom changes
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and Senior Helpers office staff
• Accurately document care and report any changes in condition

Requirements:

• Previous experience caring for clients with Parkinson's disease (required)
• Prior caregiving experience (home care or facility preferred)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to detail
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and work independently
