Job Summary We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 323 Lowell Street in Andover, MA. The desired schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. A sign-on bonus of $3,000.00 is offered; details will be discussed during the interview process. Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens for laboratory testing. Essential Functions Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups. Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens. Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure safety of patients and staff. Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations. Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
