Position: Specimen TechnicianJob Description:Sets up and closes out peripheral workstationsAliquots specimens into appropriately labeled containers for each testAffixes barcode labels to original specimen containers and/or pour off containersAble to accession problem specimensAccesses non-interface transmissions orders for all temperaturesQualifications:High school graduate or equivalentMust be willing to work additional hoursDetail orientedAbility to work under pressure and independently with a high degree of accuracyAbility to deal with confidential information discreetlyAbility to work well with others, both co-workers and clients in a courteous and professional manner
