Insurance Administrator

Insurance Department Support This position is responsible for providing support to the company's Insurance Departments by performing data entry, scanning and revising reports as required by the company's indemnification programs, and assisting in maintenance of department compliance. Key Responsibilities Input and maintain accurate systems data, compile reports and scan documents relating to the company's indemnification programs Review certificates of insurance and indemnification agreements; report deficiencies through compliance reports to respective managers Act as a liaison between service providers and managers to ensure that required insurance coverage is obtained; generate correspondence when a provider is not in compliance Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers What is Expected of You and Others at This Level Has developed knowledge and skills through job related training or considerable experience Often entry level for those with work experience in relevant areas Works within established procedure with a moderate degree of supervision Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions Competencies Expected of You and Others at This Level Manages Conflict - Handles conflict situations effectively with a minimum of noise Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences Decision Quality - Makes good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward Demonstrates Self-Awareness - Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses Directs Work - Provides clear direction, delegation, and removes obstacles to get work done Resourcefulness - Secures and deploys resources effectively and efficiently Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent required 2-4 years' relevant experience required Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication (written and verbal), customer service, and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies and follow issues through resolution Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Physical Requirements and Working Environment Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer This job description is intended to give you a general understanding of the role and the type of work involved, but it may not include every responsibility or requirement.
