Job Description Saia is a logistics and transportation company that values its people, customers, and community. Position Summary Drive freight between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within a defined geographic area, ensuring freight is delivered safely, claims‑free, and cost‑efficiently. Major Tasks and Responsibilities Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight. Sort, handle, load, and unload freight at various company and customer locations. Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Follow established pre‑trip, post‑trip, freight handling, and billing procedures. Conduct inspections by following established safety and quality control procedures. Retain and maintain records, forms, and load‑related paperwork. Serve as the first point‑of‑contact for delivery‑related issues. Pay Pay rate: $31.70–$36.35 per hour, based on experience. Safe motor vehicle report and applicable endorsements, including hazmat, tankers, doubles, and triples. 1+ years of tractor‑trailer driving experience. Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack. Ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
