Role Description This full-time Insurance Agent role is a hybrid position based in Manalapan, NJ, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Insurance Agent will consult with prospective and existing clients to assess their needs across life, health, Medicare Supplement, and property & casualty insurance, and recommend appropriate coverage options. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and following up on leads, preparing quotes, presenting insurance solutions, and managing application and underwriting processes. The role also involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, handling policy reviews and renewals, responding to inquiries, and providing proactive customer service. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with colleagues in wealth management and insurance brokerage to support integrated financial solutions and contribute to business growth. Qualifications Strong insurance expertise, including Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to explain complex coverage options in clear terms. Proven Insurance Sales skills, with experience prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing new business ethically and consistently. Solid understanding of Finance to support discussions on risk management, premiums, and how insurance fits into broader financial plans. Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and client retention. Relevant insurance licenses for New Jersey (such as Life & Health and Property & Casualty), or ability to obtain them within a defined timeframe. Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including effective time management and self-direction when working from home. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and compliance. Prior experience in an insurance agency, brokerage, or financial services environment is preferred.
