Merchandise Coordinator

Job Summary The Coordinator, Merchandising, provides coordination and functional support to Pricing and Integrity management to include administrative support to Pricing and Integrity in support of category management. Assists with item retail support, new item data management, pre‑orders, promotions, prepares reports, coordinates information requests, receives visitors, arranges conference calls, schedules and coordinates meetings, prepares correspondence, and performs clerical functions such as mail distribution and filing. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Provides customer service to vendors and stores on vendor and product support issues Coordinates new vendor and item implementation process Coordinates preorder information with accurate cost and retail Processes promotional information for Marketing and Store Systems teams Coordinates Procurement/Sourcing and Banner Departments paperwork flow Assists with ad proofing/editing Assists with maintenance/updates of sign database May maintain/update pricing and/or scale maintenance Receives/processes and prepares/coordinates invoices, reports, memos, correspondence, emails, presentations and other documents Coordinates and maintains calendars for departmental leadership; schedules and coordinates meetings, buying shows, etc. Performs other duties as assigned Salary 19.89 - 22.00 Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Advanced coordination/administrative skills, to include good analytical skills, intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word), and use of general office equipment Strong communication (written and verbal) skills; will be required to communicate to a variety of internal and external stakeholders Highly functional in a team environment Strong cooperation and team building attributes Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks and challenges Education Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience) Experience One year of related experience Other None Physical Basic office environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects Quality/Quantity of Work Personal/Interpersonal Skills The Save Mart Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we welcome resumes from individuals who will contribute to our diverse workforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr
