Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient. Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy. Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately. Other duties as assigned. Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Obtains scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures. Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning. Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed. Gowns and gloves the surgeon and assistants. Assists in draping the sterile field. Passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure. Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during the procedure. Schedule Full time 3 nights/week 1845-0715 2 on-call shifts in 6-week schedule Location
