Manufacturing Controls Technician

job summary:
Controls Specialist for a leading packaging manufacturing company based in Tulsa, OK. This role is responsible to work directly on the shop floor to diagnose and resolve controls and electrical production issues in real-time.

responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting support on the production line to resolve electrical issues

• Implement, modify, test, and troubleshoot new and existing systems, including HMI and PLC software, electrical layouts, and technical documentation

• Develop work instructions

• Create manufacturing routings

• Create and maintain documentation of existing systems

Required Qualifications:

• Must have at least three (3) years experience troubleshooting electrical control systems

• Experience troubleshooting PLC/HMIs

• Proficient in using electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, meggers)

• Hands-on experience with wiring, rewiring, and electrical assembly

Preferred:

• Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree

• PLC programming
