Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Potsdam, New York, Hematology/Oncology Opening

Start Date: 8/3/26Assignment Length: 6-9 months

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00am-5:00pm
• 1-hour blocked lunch daily
• Full-time provider strongly preferred; flexible for near full-time schedules
• Overtime eligible after 40 hours per week as needed

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
• Occasional inpatient consults (infrequent during normal operations)
• Growing program with emphasis on flexibility and adaptability

Patient Volume & Treatment Scope:

• 18-20 patients per day
• 15 infusion chairs available
• Treatments include:
  • Chemotherapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Targeted therapy
  • Hormone therapy

Support Staff:

• 1 MD
• 1 NP
• 3 CNA/CMA staff members

Facility & Workflow Details:

• Epic EMR with AI-assisted charting available
• Cell phone use permitted for AI charting support
• Professional attire required (closed-toe shoes)
• Clock in/out: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Call-in process: notify director via phone or text

Requirements:

• Active New York license in hand - Required
• Epic experience - Required
• Minimum 5 years experience - Required
• Board Eligible or Board Certified - Required
