Pediatric Gastroenterologist Opportunity
Our organization, a prominent multi-specialty practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area, is collaborating with a full-service hospital to find a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist. This hospital features a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center and is dedicated to delivering exceptional pediatric care, including a Pediatric Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a Pediatric Acute Care Unit.
Adjacent to the hospital, there is a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Ambulatory Clinic that offers both general pediatric and subspecialty services. Additional FQHCs throughout the city provide pediatric primary care, enhancing our reach within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
- Performing various pediatric GI endoscopic and other related procedures.
- Providing education and training to medical staff and residents.
- Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience and knowledge in pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric GI procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
- Open to both experienced physicians and recent Fellows.
- Visa sponsorship options available (J-1 waiver and/or H1B).
This position is based in a teaching hospital that hosts nine residency programs, with our physicians serving as core faculty. The Pediatric Residency program is shared with a well-known children's hospital. Our organization is also affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix, and Creighton Medical School, Phoenix Campus.
