Capital Equipment Sales Developer - St. Paul, Minnesota

Position exists as a sales entry position with salary & capital unit incentives. This position will develop product and sales experience to assist sales team. Individuals in this position should possess the ability and desire to advance into a Sales Representative position over time with consideration to relocate if necessary.

What You'll Do:

• Acquires the technical skill set on all products with an emphasis on capital goods.
• Develops hands-on working knowledge of the basic operation of all CE, Major Instruments and Small Tools.
• Develops firm understanding of the sales process for Capital Goods.
• Participate in training in product and sales fundamentals as necessary.
• Develop firm understanding of daily operations within the territory.
• Develop an understanding of distributor operations and their role in the selling process.
• Develop working knowledge of back-office support and resources.
• Interface with end-users and distributors in moving the project through the sales process.
• Coordinate events within the territory by the guidance of the Regional Manager (Open Houses, Distributer Training, End-User Events, Product Demonstrations, etc).
• Develop target lists of end-users for campaigns and contact points such as e-blasts and product announcements.

Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Work Environment: Office Environment.

Physical Demands: The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Monday Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM with 1 hour paid lunch.

Travel: Up to 50% travel is required.

Required Education and Experience: Education equivalent to a four-year degree; additional specialized training. One year experience.
