Job Overview:
The role of the Junior Associate Personal Injury Litigation Attorney requires a strong interest in advocating for injured clients and managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. This role will work closely with senior attorneys and clients in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and other negligence claims
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement documents
- Take and defend depositions, including those of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Evaluate cases for liability, damages, and value
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy and progress
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel
- Ensure timely filing of documents and maintain case deadlines
- Maintain accurate case records and expenses in case management systems Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar. Additional bar licensure a plus.
- [13+] years of personal injury litigation experience preferred; trial experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and rules of evidence
- Excellent oral advocacy, legal writing, and negotiation skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Clientfocused mindset and compassionate approach to injured clients
- Proficiency with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw) and case management software (e.g., Needles, Clio, Filevine) Compensation and Benefits:
