This is a sourcing-focused engagement — not full-lifecycle recruiting. Your job is to find, engage, and qualify cleared technical talent and hand warm, documented candidates to the Talent Acquisition team for interview and close. This is a 1-3 month contract engagement at 40 hours per week, performed on-site in Tysons, VA 3-4 days per week, in support of requisitions in the DMV area and Redwood City, CA, with possible extension based on performance and business need.The ideal candidate hits the ground running — working with defined pipelines, defined tools, and defined standards — and expects their impact to be measured weekly.### ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Sourcing & Candidate Engagement* Build a qualified top-of-funnel pipeline for assigned cleared technical requisitions: AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and adjacent roles (software, cloud, and data engineering).* Execute direct sourcing across ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Boolean, etc. for passive and active talent, not applicant review.* Run structured outreach sequences (email, InMail, phone) and conduct initial qualification screens covering interest, clearance status, compensation expectations, and availability.* Support pre-event sourcing for scheduled hiring events (information sessions, hiring events) as directed.Process, Documentation & Reporting* Hand off engaged, qualified candidates to the TA team with complete notes; log every outreach and candidate response in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) the same day, per CATHEXIS documentation standards.* Follow the CATHEXIS candidate engagement cadence and release standard, and operate within defined TA/agency pipeline-ownership lanes.* Report weekly sourcing metrics: outreach volume, response rate, qualified handoffs, and pipeline adds per requisition.### Requirements* 3+ years of dedicated technical sourcing experience (sourcer or sourcing-heavy recruiting role), with verifiable throughput — be prepared to speak to weekly outreach volume, response rates, and qualified-handoff numbers.* Demonstrated sourcing for AI/ML or data science talent — able to read a resume for ML frameworks, data pipelines, and model deployment signals and search on them.* Expert-level Boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency, with disciplined ATS documentation habits (Workable a plus).* Strong written outreach — messages that get responses from passive, in-demand candidates.* Available to start within 1-2 weeks and productive in week one.### Desired Skills* Experience sourcing security-cleared talent (Secret, TS, or TS/SCI); familiarity with ClearanceJobs and cleared-market dynamics.* Prior contract or surge sourcing engagements with fast ramp-up.* Familiarity with OFCCP-compliant sourcing and outreach documentation.### BenefitsCATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees.
