Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) - 1st Shift M-F

Clinical Laboratory Technologist position at Altasciences involves processing and analyzing specimens, operating laboratory instruments, and performing quality assurance activities. The role requires a medical technology degree and 5-10 years of relevant experience or certification.
Responsibilities
- Process, handle, and analyze clinical specimens according to established protocols
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
- Prepare, store, and manage inventory of reagents and laboratory materials
- Perform quality assurance activities and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives
- Train new laboratory personnel and cross-train colleagues on laboratory procedures
Requirements
- BA/BS in medical technology or equivalent AA from accredited technical school
- 5-10 years of experience or equivalent education and training combination
- MLS, MLT, or equivalent certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Word, and data entry applications
- Strong English language skills: speaking, reading, and writing
- Math skills to interpret scientific data and processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Compensation: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
