As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Ankeny, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
