Electrical And Mechanical MaintenanceThis position is responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance in the Melting department. Schedule is swing shift 6-6, 4 on 4 off.ResponsibilitiesCover maintenance vacationsWork with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBAPerform preventative maintenance, project work and installation of new equipmentWelding and fabrication as neededMonitor and ensure safe work practicesMaintain complete and accurate maintenance documentationPerform all other tasks assigned by leadershipQualificationsRequired:Excellent safety record, strong communication skills, self-motivated and ability to work with othersPrevious industrial maintenance experienceStrong electrical / mechanical aptitudeAbility to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBAPreferred:Electrical experiencePLC knowledgeWelding and fabrication experienceFormal electrical or automation trainingBasic knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systemsSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
