Job Description

Position title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Bellevue, NE 68123

Pay rate: $28/hr.

Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:30 PM

Assignment Duration: 12 months with potential extension up to 5 years

Key Responsibilities

Receive, enter, process, and prepare prescriptions for dispensing.
Fill new and refill medication orders under Pharmacist supervision.
Operate pharmacy dispensing systems and automated medication equipment.
Assist patients with prescription pick-up and pharmacy inquiries.
Maintain medication inventory and stock levels.
Monitor expiration dates and remove outdated medications.
Prepare inventory reports and assist with ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
Ensure accurate labeling and packaging of medications.
Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
Maintain pharmacy records and documentation.
Assist pharmacists with day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.
Current BLS Certification.
ACLS Certification may be required.
Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience.
