Principal Systems EngineerIntegrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer. IAMDS leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury, MA, and Andover, MA locations. The IAMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the world's toughest challenges.This position is onsite in Tewksbury, MA.What You Will Do:You will be responsible for concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-downYou will be responsible for concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and designYou will be responsible for algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded systemYou will be responsible for functional analysis of real world and test dataYou will be responsible for multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense SystemYou will collaborate with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighterQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience.Ability to obtain security clearance. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.The salary range for this role is $101,000 - $203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
