The Project Engineer manages all aspects of assigned projects through engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. Aspects include, scope, cost, schedule, feasibility, concept engineering, detailed design, equipment selection and procurement, contractor selection, construction oversight, management of change, personnel and process safety, environmental oversight and all other project tasks to successfully accomplish the project objectives. This position will report to the Engineering Director.Responsibilities:Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, environmental/health/safety impacts.Supports project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards.Prepares bid requests for material, labor, and equipment and evaluate proposals on sound engineering and business principles.Supports multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start-up.Acts as a safety leader who upholds company core values and prioritizes personal and process safety. Prepares and leads engaging project safety meetings, drives safely, utilizes the MOC process, and supports the development and implementation of business partner energy isolation procedures.
