Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,875 per week

Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Dyer, Indiana. Position Details Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Location Facility in Dyer, Indiana Job Responsibilities Role includes preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards. Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address questions. Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as needed. Operate imaging equipment to create images as ordered by physicians. Document procedures in patient records. Follow hospital safety rules, policies, and radiation safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Qualifications One year’s experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT). Other certifications or licenses as required for this position. Required Skills and Abilities Critical thinking, service excellence, and effective interpersonal communication. Proficient written and verbal English communication. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and proficiency with PCs. Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel, maintain a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about during procedures. Mental resilience to cope with frequent public contact, deadlines under pressure, occasional supervision, irregular activity schedules, and continuous concentration on detail.
