You will work independently across organizations; manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets; assign and manage represented EMS Operators and/or Ceramic Material and Process Specialist to maximize efficiency and achieve target productive yields; implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule; and perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operator and/or M&P Specialist.5th Shift Hours – 6:00pm – 6:00am (Friday – Sunday)What You’ll Get to Do:Direct and coordinate the activities to plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules, in conjunction with Material Requirements Planning, to meet production/delivery requirementsOversees the status of work in process, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that equipment, materials, and services are available, as neededAssign and manage staff to maximize efficiency and achieve schedule and target productive yieldsPerforms require SAP/MES transactions to manage personnel, planning and financialsProvides specific direction and training, as requiredEnsures 5S practices within cell areasUtilizes both internal and external resources, and coordinates cell and functional activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, inventory control, transportation, etc.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of professional experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment; 9 years of work experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degreeExperience with coaching and/or mentoring colleagues and/or teamsExperience with SAP/MESAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security ClearanceU.S. citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications:Active U.S. Government Secret clearanceBachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or other STEM areaPrevious project or personnel management experiencePrior experience working in a represented (union) environmentLean Manufacturing ExperienceTechnical and/or hands-on Military experienceNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
