The Equity Capital Markets team provides conflict-free, strategic and tactical advice on equity-focused issues, equity capital-raising alternatives, and on all aspects of deal execution. Our team advises on topics including traditional IPOs, direct listings, follow-ons, PIPEs, equity-linked convertible bonds, block trades and at-the-market (ATM) offerings. Beyond specific Equity Capital Markets assignments, analysts will work closely with all other groups in the firm, gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and transaction types. Lazard offers an unparalleled opportunity for all bankers to work as part of small deal teams on important strategic assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives.

• Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses
• Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information
• Perform company and industry research
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing
• Have a point of view and be willing to challenge the consensus

• Interact with senior bankers and clients

You'll need to have:

• One year of relevant full-time work experience (investment banking, corporate finance, investment, or management consulting preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with extensive training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling
• Fluency in the use of AI tools and prompt engineering
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Proven academic excellence and high degree of intellectual curiosity
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product
• A team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both to deal teams and external clients
• Strong ability to multi-task

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
