Lead Technician / Carpenter

As our first Lead Technician, you will play a foundational role in our company. Because we are a startup, we aren't just looking for an installer; we are looking for a partner who wants to help us build our processes, refine our workflows, and grow into a leadership position as we scale. Key Responsibilities Specialized Installation: Receive training to install and maintain stairlifts, modular ramps, and other essential mobility products. Creative Woodworking: Develop and execute creative wood solutions to solve custom accessibility challenges, ensuring every modification is safe and durable. Operations Support: Report to our Richmond-area location daily to manage inventory and utilize the company-provided truck for service calls across Richmond and as far west as Charlottesville. Professional Client Relations: Provide a high level of professional, empathetic service to our clients—primarily the elderly and disabled—ensuring they feel confident and comfortable with their home modifications. What We Are Looking For Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with basic hand and power tools is required. Physical Strength: Ability to lift at least 75 lbs is a must for handling equipment and materials.
