Westshore Mechanical is looking for an experienced Lead Residential & Commercial HVAC Installer to join our growing team in Spring Lake, MI. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of installations from start to finish while mentoring a skilled crew. - Lead and oversee full HVAC system installations in residential and light commercial settings
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and ductwork systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications
- Mentor and guide junior installers and apprentices on job sites
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate job completion
- Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and commercial clients on-site
- 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience (residential and/or commercial)
- Prior lead or supervisory experience on installation crews preferred
- EPA 608 Certification required
- Strong knowledge of ductwork fabrication, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections
- Ability to read blueprints and job specifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude
