As a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in Homewood, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel or resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, with attention to access control and property conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and amenity spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with directions and general questions, and support a professional atmosphere throughout the location.
• Assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, and other access points, and/or help coordinate responses to alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and other service-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
