Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Pharmacy technician opportunities are available with a leading mail order pharmacy serving Scottsdale, AZ. This contract role seeks three Certified Pharmacy Technicians who pride themselves on reliability and accuracy to support prescription handling and shipping operations.
Position Details:
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks, with possible contract-to-hire consideration
- Shift: Flexible availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and/or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM (no weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data for new prescriptions, refills, and patient information, verifying details in the order management system
- Count, dispense, and label medications with precision
- Prepare orders for shipment: print and apply shipping labels, sort packages by courier, and ensure timely dispatch per service agreements
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies and procedures
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification
- Exceptional accuracy and adaptability in handling tasks
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable work ethic
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills
- Positive, interactive attitude and the ability to collaborate within a team
- Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
- Effective multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritization capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning
