Job Description

Pro Resources is seeking an Accounting & Inventory Control Specialist for a client in Elkhart, IN. This is an immediate opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting, inventory control, or related manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working with numbers, inventory, customer information, and financial records. Strong Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks skills are required. This position will interact with customers while also supporting accounting, invoicing, inventory, data entry, and other administrative functions.

Shift & Compensation

• Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Compensation is from $43,680 USD to $52,000 USD per year

Job Duties

• Maintain accurate accounting, customer, inventory, and company records
• Enter and update data accurately in company systems
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize information, track data, and prepare reports
• Use QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and business-related tasks
• Assist with invoicing, billing, payments, and other accounting functions
• Track and maintain inventory information and records
• Coordinate information between customers, accounting, inventory, and other internal departments
• Respond to customer questions and requests by phone, email, and other methods
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving customer information, invoices, inventory, or other records
• Maintain accurate documentation and support administrative processes
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform other accounting, inventory, customer service, and administrative duties as needed

Background Profile

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, inventory control, or a similar role
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with inventory, purchasing, production, or manufacturing records is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• QuickBooks experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and solve problems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
