Registered Nurse – Operating Room (GYN/GU/Transplant)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 17–21 Week Assignment | Days/Evenings | 12-Hour Shifts | Three shifts per week (6:40 AM–7:10 PM), with potential for one biweekly evening shift (9:40 AM–10:10 PM) | Weekend rotation and weekday call requirement included

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for GYN, GU, and transplant surgical procedures including kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, nephrectomy, cystectomy, hysterectomy, and ureteroscopy
• Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures including Davinci Xi robot, urological robots, and GYN robotic cases
• Support laparoscopic gynecology procedures, anterior/posterior repair, abdominal hysterectomy, and HOLEP
• Participate in organ procurement procedures as required
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the applicable specialty
• Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; two attempts permitted, with a third attempt available upon submission of a cardiac interpretation review course certificate)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Davinci Xi robotic surgical platform
• Familiarity with organ procurement and transplant coordination workflows
• Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
