Service Robot Co. helps businesses across all 50 states choose, deploy and maintain commercial robots, with 24/7 support. We supply all types of robots for all types of automation. We handle site assessments, robot selection, installation, system integration and team training. Purchase, financing and rental options are available, backed by ongoing maintenance and repairs. One partner from your first consultation through everyday operation.

The role

Install and maintain solar equipment on rooftops, ground-mounted systems, and large solar sites.

What you will do

Install solar panels, mounting systems, and wiring according to site plans.
Maintain and repair inverters, combiner boxes, trackers, and connectors.
Inspect systems, take electrical readings, and use thermal scans to find faults.
Clean panels and complete scheduled maintenance.
Follow fall protection, electrical isolation, and test-before-touch procedures.
Record each visit with photos, readings, and repair notes.
Explain findings and follow-up work to the site owner.
Keep tools, meters, and protective equipment ready for use.

What we are looking for

Experience in roofing, electrical work, construction, HVAC, or another practical trade.
Basic electrical knowledge or willingness to learn through training.
Careful attention to safety and signs of equipment failure.
Comfort using ladders, wearing a harness, and working at height.
Availability for physical outdoor work and travel to customer sites.
Reliability and clear communication.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. Training and certifications are free for selected candidates. Your first job is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
