Outpatient Child & Adolescent Therapist

Responsibilities Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and maintain ongoing documentation including diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes in accordance with company policy. For full‑time clinicians, maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week (monthly target 110 sessions). Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session in line with company guidelines and protocol. Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings. Required Qualifications and Skills Master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution and status of being on track to obtain licensure in the designated field. Current or pursuing clinical licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, etc.). Experience with completing comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients. Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other required documents in a timely manner. Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base. Proficiency with typical office technology (computers, e‑mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus). Ability to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC) holding a valid Illinois state license (supervision available for LSW, LPC and other professionals). Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and prior experience with mental health documentation. Full‑licensed clinicians ideally credentialed with insurance panels.
