About the Opportunity

A growing and dynamic services organization is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting function. This is a high-impact role partnering closely with senior leadership, offering exposure to a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Position Overview

The Controller will oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and an efficient close process. This individual will play a key role in scaling the accounting function and supporting continued organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and revenue recognition
• Manage and optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and lead audit process
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with finance leadership
• Oversee cash flow, treasury activities, and banking relationships
• Hire, develop, and mentor accounting staff

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 7+ years of increasing responsibility in accounting, including team leadership
• CPA and audit background in public accounting mandatory
• Solid understanding of GAAP and control frameworks
• Experienced in leading close cycles and audits under tight timelines
• Strong ERP system and Excel skills
